Coach Trocano was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. He holds an MA.Ed from Wake Forrest University, and a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University. He is currently Chair of the Science Department and a science instructor at The Haverford School (2005-present). Prior to his arrival at The Haverford School, he was the Dean of Science and an Instructor of chemistry at The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics(1997-2004). Trocano played football at Charles F. Brush High School in Lyndhurst, OH (where he was named to the All-Greater Cleveland Conference Team in 1979), and at Yale University. He has coached football at Case Western Reserve University (graduate assistant), Duke University (club team), Kempsville High School, VA and West Forsyth High School, Clemmons, NC. Trocano joined The Haverford School varsity football staff as an offensive line coach in 2005.
Coach Luke Dougherty enters his third season as a part of the Ford’s freshmen staff. He will serve as the defensive coordinator, defensive backs coach, and running backs coach for the 2014 season. Luke previously was an assistant for St. Denis CYO in Havertown, PA. Luke served as an assistant at St. Denis from 2006-2011.
Luke graduated from The Haverford School in 2011. He is
currently enrolled as a Middle Grades Education student at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Luke currently resides in Havertown, PA.
