Player of the Week - Sun Valley

Carl Walrath - junior (RB/DB) turned in a solid performance on both sides of the football. Offensively he carried 9 times for 151 yds and 2 TD's. He added 1 catch for 10 yds. Defensively he had an INT and 3 tackles. On the season Walrath is averaging just under 10 yds per carry.

Player of the Week - Honorable Mention

Offense - Dan Oakley, senior (FB/LB) was a driving force on the offensive side of the ball, doing a little bit of everything for the Fords. Oakley registered 2 TD's on the day. One a pass from Matt Lengel and the other a powerful TD run. In addition, he had a number of crushing blocks as a lead blocker, one leading to a Walrath TD.

Defense - Andrew Herm, senior (LB/ST) led the team with 5 tackles while playing only one half of football. Herm was constantly around the ball all day, executing and playing with excitement. He was awarded the sledgehammer award for the week.

Special Teams - Aron Morgan was stellar on PAT attempts and kickoffs, while adding a TD saving tackle on a kick return, preserving the shutout for the Fords.
