Player of the Week - Peddie School - Matt Lengel

Player of the Week

Matt Lengel - Lengel a senior (QB) directed the Fords offense throughout the game. He was 13 of 24 passing for 128 yds and 1 TD. He also broke 2 tackles on an 8 yd TD run that helped seal the victory for the Fords. He did an effective job of managing the game on the day. For his efforts Lengel was named the QB MVP of the week for Indep/Cath schools by the Delco Cty Coaches Assn.

Player of the Week - Honorable Mention

Offense - Carl Walrath a junior (RB/DB) again led the Fords ground attack with 152 yds rushing on 21 carries, while adding a couple of big receptions and 1 receiving TD. Walrath was named positional MVP for RBacks by the Delco Cty Coaches Assn.

Defense - Rob Boyle a senior (DE) had 5 tackles, 1 Fumble Recovery and 1 forced fumble to pace the Fords defense which held Peddie to under 100 total yds. Boyle was named positional MVP for DLine by the Delco Cty Coaches Assn.

Special Teams - Kickoff team did a great job of bottling up Peddie's return game all day.
