Player of the Week - Penn Wood

Sophomore Matt Galambos is the Player of the Week for his performance against Penn Wood HS. Defensively Galambos led the Fords defense with 9 solo tackles. He was excellent in coverage, holding one of PW's leading receivers without a catch. Offensively Galambos had a big first down catch to keep the Ford's TD drive alive. Often he was charged with blocking PW's
6'9" 260 defensive end, a Penn State commit. Galambos was also a contributor on Special Teams.

Player of the Week - Honorable Mention

Offense - Offensive Line - The Fords offensive line did a solid job against a very formidable corps of PW's defense. Up to last week, PW had given up -37 yards rushing to opponents.

Defense - Joe McCallion continued his excellent play on the defensive side of the football. McCallion was all over the field making plays

Special Teams - Zack Trauger. Trauger had 2 partial punt blocks and some great blocks during the return game.
