Player of the Week - Malvern Prep

Dox Aitken (JR. WR/FS) intercepted a MP pass and returned it for a score that sealed the win for the Fords. Aitken made many tackles from his safety position on the day. In addition, he handled the punting duties for the Fords, putting the field position battle in the Fords' favor. He also improvised on a called fake punt and converted, allowing the offense to remain on the field.

Honorable Mention -

Kevin Carter (Jr. QB) - while Carters numbers may not have been eye-popping, he managed the game for the Fords, protecting the football and making plays when needed, enabling the Fords to get the W.

The entire defense gets recognized this week. It was a great collective effort to keep a very good MP offense out of the endzone with one exception. They then stepped up and blocked the EP.

Special Teams

Jack Soslow (Sr. K) despite missing a 52 yarder, Soslow was instrumental in the win again this week. A 47 yard FG added to Fords points on the board. His endzone kickoffs kept the Friars starting from their own 21.
